When I was a child, I used to collect beer bottle caps. My father had kept the bottle tops and gave them to me three years ago. For this exhibition, I have created paintings of this bottle cap collection and some other collections. A collection can be important to the collector, but meaningless or trash to others. As my painting style is relatively slow and detailed, I build a special bond with the items while painting, just like the collector probably did.
