ERKKI NAMPAJÄRVI
DRAWINGS AND COLLAGES
GALLERIA HUUTO JÄTKÄSAARI 1
24.8.–8.9.2013
First there is a rhythm and I allow it to carry me. Once I feel the urge, I begin to draw. My aim is to be quick so that I can forget everything around me. I strive for perfect concentration.
A picture begins to appear layer by layer.
Working is a constant battle with myself. I meditate, play, laugh and cry. It is a never-ending and natural process. After I have crossed one boundary, there is another one in front of me.
