In November 2022, Galleria Huuto will have operated 20 years. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Huuto moves from Helsinki city center to the center of Oulu.
Galleria Huuto’s current rental contract in the former technical school building in the inner yard of Kalevankatu 43 will end in the end of 2022. For the last exhibition in current spaces Huuto’s artists will organise a big group exhibition in December.
Renovation of the new spaces in Oulu will start in January. The artist members will do the needed building work themselves. Building together is a tradition that brings together member artists to work for a common goal and have a good time.
Galleria Huuto is conducted by a non-profit collective Mehiläispesä ry – Bikupa rf, consisting of over 120 artist members.
