Y is a video work depicting lost animals and loneliness. My work utilizes the division into eight unions affecting humans according to scholastic thinker Hildebert of Tours (ca. 1056–1133 or 1134) and Bernhard of Clairvaux (1091–1153): carnal, natural, moral, virtual, personal, social, spiritual and substantial/supersubstantial. I have also included Henri Bergson’s (1859–1941) concept of the virtual, interpreting it in my own way. Everything that is experienced is carried into my durationality as virtual and will disappear with it.
