I am an endless daydreamer. I look for new materials and carry out technical experiments; I am afraid of failure and meanwhile unsure whether I am wasting my time. At the moment I am seduced by plastic optical fibers like a fly stuck in a spiders web. Images of my own life, the vicissitudes of my family, and art history come into my mind. Ideas mingle with each other and reveries unravel. The central figure is a sculpture of an aged person whose hair is made of plastic optical fibers. For me the light of plastic optical fibers is materialized light that serves as a transmitter of reveries and memories.
