My exhibition Matter of Tags consists of works that are both temporary and prone to changes. The ways the works change depend on things I cannot affect, such as the number of visitors or the weather of the day.
Imprints are left; there are measures and counter-measures; reactions and counter-reactions. There is renaming of matters and there is defining, recycling, overlap, and layers – or simply motion and passing of time.
What interests me in art are the versatile and changing roles of the artist, the visitor, and everyone who is involved in the life span of a work. In addition to interaction, art, for me, is observing in a way that shatters the comprehension: pleasurable stretching of and playing with definitions and perspectives.
