As part of Helsinki Day on the 12th June No Putin No is arranging a live-printing event in Galleria Huuto from 4 PM to 8 PM. Welcome to join!
You will see the entire silk printing process and follow how the ink travels from the tin to the ready-to-wear t-shirt! New artists with their new designs are already on board: welcome Antti Uotila, Sanna Mander and Heikki Lotvonen.
About NPN:
No Putin No is an anti-war campaign founded by Pavel Rotts and Robin Clifford Ellis in spring 2022 as a reaction to the invasion of Ukraine. As artists, we were horrified and outraged at Russia’s actions and wanted to help in the best way we could. We decided to produce printed materials for sale that not only communicate an anti-war message but also raise funds for those living in a war zone. As the recipient of our fundraising, we chose an organisation in Ukraine called Helping to Leave as we felt that it would have the most beneficial impact on ordinary Ukrainians.
