The space itself and its big ceiling fan serve as the starting point for my project. The fan is like a warm tropical breeze. The project space is a temporary space for experiments. I will build the exhibition on site for three weeks, leaving the process visible. In my previous works I have built landscapes that have been more “finished”, like perfect postcard-views. In this project the landscape will not be static, but instead it will be subjected to changes.
I am an artist working with installations and sculpture. In my recent works I have built artificial landscapes and nature with construction- and garden materials. I have received my MFA from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. I live and work in Helsinki.
