I picked up fish from a fisherman in Munapirtti together with my grandfather. There was a dead seagull near the fishing lodge. My grandfather took it and stuffed it. The seagull was prominently displayed on the flower table in the living room. In my works, important memories get mixed up with painting signs. They both come from my subconscious and enter the material world when a work is being created and become part of the exhibition without following an order based on chronology or value.
