La Sala Naranja, an Artists’ Collective from Valencia, presents another showcase of contemporary art at Galleria Huuto. It is part of an exchange between Galleria Huuto and La Sala Naranja. It is organized by Namastic Art Collective, Helsinki, in collaboration with the two galleries.
Participant Artists: Ima Picò, Abraham Martìnez, Jordi Plà, Nacho Ruiz, Enriqueta Rocher, Sergio Zavattieri, Guadalupe Aguilar, Antonio Ruiz Montesinos, Sheila Pye & Nicholas Pye, Filippos Tsitsopoulos, Beatriz Sànchez Sànchez.
Toni Calderòn, the curator of La Sala Naranja, writes: “Our proposal is about the Dematerialization of the Body. In many of the artworks shown here The Body loses its specificity to step into the creation of what is denominated “Homo Digitalis”. The artists involved have been working with the absence of a physical body, playing with technology as a tool to reach something beyond the Human, the Mental Projection of a Digital Self.”
La Sala Naranja outlines proposals working with a plurality of artists. The long experience of its members in organizing events is based on flexibility, open-mindedness and acumen.
